After graduating with the MHS
class of 1963, I entered David Lipscomb College for a degree in
teaching and pursued a Masters Degree in Educational
Administration and Supervision. My wife and I were married in
1969 and we had three daughters, each of whom are married with
children of their own. As my wife of thirty-nine years would
have said, "What joy! What joy!" I retired from the Metropolitan
Nashvile Public Schools in June of 2008 after 38 years of
service in addition to 3 years as administrator of a private
school in Louisville, Kentucky. 25 of those 41 years were as an
elementary school principal. Since my retirement I have
volunteered for various projects that have allowed me to have a
fulfilling life and enjoy various opportunities that I never
seemed to have time to experience. Life has been good to me and
memories of my days at Madison High will be ever present as my
journey continues here at home... Madison, Tennessee.
