My class year
would have been 1958, but I moved back to Birmingham in the
summer of 1954, where I attended Phillips High School. My
homeroom teacher was Mr. A.D. Hancock. After my discharge from
the USAF, I attended Lindsey Wilson College of Kentucky and The
University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. In 1997, I retired with
thirty (30)years from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah
District as a Construction Representative. I still have FOND
memories of my time at Madison Jr. High School. Some of my
fellow classmates were, John Treon, Charles Wakefield, James
Owens and Larry ?. My wife Cheryl is a retired nurse and we have
a son, Christopher who is a practicing criminal attorney. We are
enjoying every day on the beautiful Tennessee River in
Guntersville, AL. Sincerely hope to hear from my friends from
the MHSAA. |
