The MHSAA 2008
Scholarship Recipient:
Sarah Elizabeth Neff
The Scholarship Committee
is pleased to announce the 2008 recipient of our MHSAA Scholarship. She is Sarah Elizabeth Neff of Allons, TN. Sarah is the daughter
of Randy and Patricia (Andrews) Neff of Allons. She just completed
her senior year at Livingston Academy in Livingston, TN. The
$1,000.00 scholarship was presented to Sarah during Livingston Academy’s
Commencement Exercises on May 16, 2008.
The MHSAA Scholarship
is given annually to a current high school senior who exemplifies
outstanding scholarship and citizenship and who is a descendant of
a former Madison High School graduate. Sarah’s mother is a 1981
graduate of Madison High School.
While a student at Livingston Academy,
Sarah maintained a 3.92 GPA and graduated 4th in her class. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Fellowship
of Christian Athletes, and the girls’ softball team. Sarah has
been a volunteer for several community service organizations. She will be attending Tennessee Tech University in the fall and plans
to major in Early Childhood Education.
