Gayle Allen Wilson, 56, died Dec. 14, 1998. She was born in Nashville, Tenn. Mrs. Wilson was employed with the Department of Defense for 32 years as a manpower management analyst at Portsmouth Navel Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Eddie Lee Wilson; a son, Jeffrey Sanders Wilson and his wife, Donna Marie, all of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Lee Anne Johnson and her husband, Michael, of Suffolk; parents, Jeff and Ruby Allen of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Beverly Watts and her husband, Phil of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Carol Reese of Nashville; grandchildren, Jeffrey Wilson, Haili Wilson, Austin Johnson and Hannah Wilson; and a host of aunts and uncles. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Talbot Park Baptist Church, 6919 Granby St., Norfolk with Dr. Tim Dixon officiating. Interment will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
