Edward Rhea "Ed" Appleby, age 76 of Hendersonville, passed away March 12, 2020. Mr. Appleby was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-five years, Sandra Appleby; parents, Hugh B. and Ellen Appleby Grissom; father, William Appleby. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Ricky) Fletcher and Denise Sabato; grandchildren, Derrick (Yvonne) Fletcher, Brandon (Hannah) Fletcher, Jason Caseman and Jessica Caseman; six great-grandchildren; sister, Billie Louise Haskins; special friends, Tom Gregory and Libby Hooper. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, March 17th at 2 pm from the chapel at Sellars Funeral Home in Hendersonville with Brother August Ruff officiating. Interment will follow the service at Wilson County Memorial Park in Lebanon, Tennessee with Derrick Fletcher, Brandon Fletcher, Jason Caseman, Kenneth Haskins, Michael Haskins and David Haskins serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Monday, March 16th from 2-7 pm and Tuesday, March 17th from 11 am until time of service.
