Charles D. “Donald” Barnes, age 63, left this world in peace at Alive Hospice in Madison, Tennessee on Thursday, November 9, 2017. Donald was born to Charles Donald and Lela Frances Barnes on October 9, 1954 in Columbia, Tennessee. Donald was a loving son who cared for his mother, loved music, and his chickens. Donald is preceded in death by his wife Terri Barnes, father Charles D. Barnes, and nephew Gary Jackson. He is survived by his mother Lela Barnes, sister Fran (Samuel) Jackson, brothers Nathan Barnes, Anthony Barnes, and William Barnes. In addition, Donald is survived by his nieces and nephews; Missy Goddard, Keith (Kendra) Jackson, Brandon Barnes, Lindsay Barnes, Rhianna Barnes, Telisha Barnes, William Barnes, Matthew Barnes, and A.J. Barnes; along with many friends. Pallbearers will be Brandon Barnes, Matthew Barnes, Tyler Goddard, Shane Mulcahy, Keith Jackson, and Jordan Clift. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 11am-2pm. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, November 12, 2017 in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Bill Sorrells officiating.
