SADLER, Georgia Elizabeth (Beth) Bates - Age 58. Died Saturday, January 19, 2002 after an extended illness. Beth was a member of Believers Baptist Church in Hendersonville and a legal secretary for many years. She ran thirteen marathons including New York and Chicago. Beth was shining example of a Christian woman, a cherished wife, mother, sister and a friend to all she met. Preceded in death by her parents, Mary and James Bates. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Gordon Sadler, Sr.; Sons, Daniel Bates Sadler and Kenneth Gordon Sadler, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Shelley Forbes Sadler; sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky Bates Hopkins and Jim Hopkins, Beverly Bates Grayson and John Grayson; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Lillian Stanfield Sadler; 2 nieces; and 5 nephews. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2002 at 2 p.m., at Central Baptist Church, on Sanders Ferry Rd., Hendersonville.
