Rodney M. Beakley, Jr., age 62, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee. Rodney was born on February 5, 1955 in Madison, Tennessee to Rodney Murray Beakley, Sr. and Helen (Childress) Beakley. Rodney was a graduate of Madison High School, he also attended MTSU where obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. He was an avid reader, his collections were a vast rage, including history, planets, and nature. It could be said that Rodney was a nature lover and specifically enjoyed bird watching. He was a resident of 827 Neelys Bend Road in Madison, Tennessee for much of his life. He is preceded in death by father, Rodney Murray Beakley, Sr. Rodney is survived by his mother, Helen (Childress) Beakley; cousin and conservator, Donna D. Harrison; cousins, Kay Cunningham, Phillip Griffin, David Griffin, and Douglas Griffin. He is also survived by a host of friends. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
