| BELL, Dorothy Velda Age 68 of Green Hills passed away peacefully on Friday, May 19, 2006. Preceded in death by her parents, Albert Lillie Whited, and two brothers, Earl and Carl Whited. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert Bob Bell; two sons, David (Michele) and Derek (Angela) Bell; two grandchildren, Caroline and Parker Bell, and siblings, Edward, Herman, Ronald, Burton, Albert, Danny Whited and Brenda Martin. Mrs. Bell graduated in the first graduation class of Madison High School in 1956 and worked 42 years for American General before her retirement. Funeral service Monday, May 22, 2006 at 130 p.m. in the Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Brother Norman Slate officiating. Interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Her nephews will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers include; the Elders Deacons of Brentwood Hills Church of Christ, Dr. John Peach, James Georgia Bridgeman, John and Linda Johnston, Homer Anne Irvin, Ira Brenda Frye, Susan Cone and Walt Leaver. If desired, memorials to the Church of Christ Diaster Relief Fund or to Lipscomb University appreciated.
