BELT, Fred Allen Age 71 of Hendersonville. May 8, 2013. Passed away at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from Peterbilt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Margie Belt and brothers, Gerald, Lawrence and Billy Belt. He is survived by his wife, Fran Belt; brothers, Melvin (Sue), Garry (Gwen) and David (Wanda) Belt; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, May 10th and from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 11th at Cole and Garrett Funeral Home in Hendersonville. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Saturday with Bro. Vitis Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Williams Chapel Cemetery in Cross Plains, TN. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, make checks payable to Fran Belt for gifts to Grace Bible Study in memory of Fred Belt.
