John Bennett Blair, Jr., Madison, TN. John Benny passed peacefully into the heavenly embrace of the Lord on the morning of September 22, 2016 after 76 years of earthly living. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Bennett (Evelyn) Blair, Sr.; his son, John Bennett Blair, III; and brother, Dan Blair. John Benny leaves behind his faithful and loving wife, Barbara Faye Blair; daughters, Pam Tepper of Florida, Kim (Joe) Kester of West Virginia; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Blair of Nashville, TN; and numerous other extended family members and treasured friends. A sincere word of gratitude must be offered to our friends Danny and Sherry Atkinson for their steadfast support. We also want to acknowledge the wonderful nurses and staff at NHC of Hendersonville who, with utmost dignity and care, treated John Benny. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
