William B. Brimm, age 92, passed away on January 10, 2016. He was
born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 20, 1923 to the late Thurman
and Ethel Brimm. Mr. Brimm played three sports for all four years
that he attended Central High School. He also served in the United
States Navy in World War II. He went on to become a beloved coach of
several sports at Goodlettsville and Madison High Schools. In
addition to his parents, Mr. Brimm is preceded in death by his sweet
wife, Sue (Flatt) Brimm, who passed away in June 2013. She has
family in Cookeville, TN. Mr. Brimm is survived by his son, Bill
Brimm, Jr.; daughter, Diane (Don) Pulley; and his family in Texas.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 16, 2016 from
10am until 12pm in the Bill Brimm Court Gymnasium at Madison Middle
School. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow, at
12pm. Madison alumni are asked to wear orange, and Goodlettsville
alumni are asked to wear blue. Sweatshirt and jeans are fine. There
will be no graveside services. In lieu of flowers, please send
