David Ray Cantrell, age 48, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Born in Nashville, TN Monday, January 17, 1966, David is preceded in death by his mother, Peggy McNabb Cantrell. He is survived by father, James "Shag" (Kathy) Cantrell; sisters, Brandy (Robert) Radford, Tisha (Brett) Keck and Jessica (Greg) Kelley; great-aunt, Ruth Duke; nieces and nephews, Justin, Jarred, Ryleigh, Taylor, Noah, Avah-scout, Nyia, Baby D, Riley and Abbey; a host of cousins. David was good-hearted and kind. He would give to others before taking care of himself. A Celebration of his Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Forest Lawn Chapel. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will gather at a visitation Friday, August 1, 2014 from 11:00 til 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 until the service at 2:00 pm. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
