Thomas Dale Carter, age 74 of Cross Plains, died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Hendersonville with Bro. Roger Luther officiating. The family will receive friends Friday at the church from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Mr. Carter was born November 25, 1937 in Old Hickory to the late Thomas and Ottie Tomlinson Carter. He was a member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville and was a cabinet maker. He is survived by his wife, Linda Carter of Cross Plains; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Shonda Carter of Springfield and Nicky and Bettye Carter of Greenbrier; daughter, Keli Ward of Dallas, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Ann Carter of Mt.
