Tony Lawrence Carter – Age 80, of Madison, born February 25, 1939 and passed away April 04, 2019. He is survived by son Steven R. (Tammy) Carter of Covington, GA; brother David W. (Pat) Carter of Mt. Juliet; sister Anice Carter (Larry) Rouse of Old Hickory; two grandchildren Brennan and Ashley Carter of Covington, GA. He is preceded in death by his mother Emily Wilson Carter; father Tony A. Carter of Madison. He was a 1957 graduate of Madison High School where he played football and baseball. He loved his dogs Parky and Bear. Visitation will be 11 AM until 1 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A family graveside service will follow at 1pm Saturday in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville. Family has requested that any donations be made to the Nashville Humane Society 213 Oceola Ave, Nashville, TN 37209 or your local animal shelter.
