CARVER, John L. Age 51, a Bell Helicopter engineer, went to be with our Lord Friday, August 27, 2010 at his home in Boyd, TX. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Burial: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. John graduated Madison High School in Madison, TN in 1977. He was a member of the Dickerson Road Baptist Church in Nashville. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 22 years, Nelda of Boyd; daughter, Rebecca Howell and husband Chase of Rhome; son, Justin Carver and wife Cassie of San Antonio; 9 grandchildren, including Madison Cheyenne Howell of Boyd; his mother, Rebecca Swift of Nashville, TN; 2 brothers, James Carver and Randy Swift; 2 sisters, Kim Hinkle and Sheila Swan; numerous nieces and nephews.
