Larry R. Dickens, age 79, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on March 3, 2022. He was born on February 24, 1943 and was the son of the late Loman Rudolph and Era Johnson Dickens. Larry graduated from Madison High in 1961 and worked at DuPont for almost 40 years. Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years Betty Parks Dickens; his sons, Larry (Melinda) Dickens of Franklin, TN, and Steven (Tory) Dickens of Hendersonville, TN; daughter, Beth (Russ) Edwards of Martin, TN; sister, Janice Dickens of Hamilton, OH; brother-in-law, Craig Parks of Madison, TN; grandchildren, Tristan Dickens, Katie Dickens, Ariel Dickens, Elizabeth Edwards and Christian Dickens; a nephew, Jonathan (Kortnie) Parks and their children, AnnaBeth and Hattie Grace. There will be a private graveside service for immediate family held at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
