 Ronald
Bruce Dillon, 70, of Hixson, TN passed away on Friday, September 24,
2010, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on February
1, 1940, in Madison, Tenn., to the late Joe and Ruby Dillon. He
retired from E.I. DuPont. Ronnie was a member of Central Baptist
Church, in Hixson. He was very passionate about golf and enjoyed
being a member of Creeks Bend Golf Course. He was a loving husband,
father, grandfather, and friend who always brought joy and a smile
to those surrounding him. He is survived and will be missed by his
loving wife of 50 years, Charlene Dillon; daughter, Sherrie Dillon,
two sons, Randy ( Misty ) Dillon, Greg (Evie) Dillon; brothers,
Terry and Lanny Dillon; sister, Anita Short; eight loving
grandchildren, Jake, Danielle, Christopher, Joshua, Miranda,
Chelsea, Hana, Gabe; one great-granddaughter, Skylee and several
nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:30
a.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at the North Chapel with Pastor
David McNabb officiating. Entombment will follow at Hamilton
Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on
Monday, September 27, 2010, at the North Chapel. Arrangements are
made by Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, 5401 Hwy 153
