Obituary

Billy Michael Dixon, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Millersville, Tennessee. Billy was born on September 4, 1955 in Nashville, TN to the late Johnny and Betty Jean (Mangrum) Dixon. Billy served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam era. He had a passion for fishing and thoroughly enjoyed going to exercise at the local planet fitness. He also enjoyed the time that he spent taking trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He had a great love for his family and cherished the life that he had been given. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Dunn and a brother, Jimmy Mangrum. Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Linda (Dulworth) Dixon; four daughters, Angel Ross, Heather Williams, Breezy Miller, and Erika Johnson; two sons, Ronnie Johnson and Randy Johnson; one brother, Jerry and wife, Scarleth Mangrum; one sister, Sara and husband, Steve Sweeney; eighteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Billy also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Madison Academy, 100 Academy Rd. Madison, TN 37115; beginning at 2 PM.
