Gibson Charlton Duncan, III, age 56, passed away November 6, 2021. He was born on June 23, 1965 to Gibson Duncan, Jr. and Frances “Jean” Duncan in Nashville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his mom; sister, Dinah Walton; paternal grandparents, Gibson Duncan, Sr. and Katherine Duncan; maternal grandparents, Thomas Halcomb and Frances Williams Halcomb. He is survived by his father; sister, Debra Duncan; aunt, Gayle Doggett (Dale); cousin, Jeff Coleman (Laura) and special family friend, John Whitaker. Gibson worked in the Father Ryan High School cafeteria and enjoyed serving the students and faculty. He was currently working with Wendy's in Madison and enjoyed working with his co-workers. He was a kind, gentle spirit and will be missed by his family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, November 12, 2021, 2:00 pm in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Shrum officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
