| Benny R. Gaines, age 68 of Lebanon passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Quality Care. Born October 10, 1945, in Davidson County, he is the son of the late Ray N. and Mary Driver Gaines. He was a 1964 graduate of Madison High School, and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. After retiring from DuPont, he worked for TFG Marketing Inc. for twenty years. He attended Love’s Way Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Buddy Gaines. He is survived by his wife, Judy Berry Gaines; two children, Richard (Joyce) Gaines and Brandie Davis; three step children, Jonathan (Shayna) Liebengood; Mark (Janet) Clemmons; and Mickie (Butch) Kiefer; and brother, Billy (Martha) Gaines; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Benny R. Gaines will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 7, 2014, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Evans officiating. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM and Friday after 9 AM at Ligon & Bobo. Pallbearers: Bobby, Von, and Jim Gaines, Josh & Tyler Clemmons, and Jesse Tracy.
