Bobby Dean Gamble, age 66, loving husband and father, passed away on September 23, 2019 after battling Lewy Body Dementia. Bobby was born on June 27, 1953 and grew up in Madison, TN. He graduated from Madison High School in 1971 and attended Cumberland University. Bobby married his middle school sweetheart, Terri Tomlinson Gamble, on April 21, 1972. Theirs is truly a love story for the ages. They were married for 47 years. He was hired as the first superintendent for American Constructors, Inc. in 1979 where he built a successful career in commercial construction for 30 years. He could truly build or fix just about anything and his work ethic was unmatched. Bobby loved being outside and spending time on the water. He treasured time with his family above all else. He was easy going and was perfectly content with an RC Cola, bologna sandwich, and Bazooka bubble gum. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke you could be assured they would be informative, insightful, or hilarious. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and J.R. He is survived by his wife, Terri, his daughter, Kelli Myers (Bruce), his grandsons, Jackson and Mason, and his sister, Nina Duncan (Danny). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the Owen Chapel Church of Christ at 1101 Franklin Road in Brentwood at 4 p.m. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice at alivehospice.org or the Lewy Body Dementia Association at lbda.org.
