Melanie Lynn Gregory Melton. Age 66, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Skyline Medical Center. Born March 9, 1955, in Nashville, she was the daughter of John Clinton Gregory and the late Elizabeth Nanny Day Gregory. Melanie was saved by the Lord’s grace at the age of twelve. She was most happy when enjoying fellowship with her friends at Madison First Baptist Church when she was younger, and then with her church family at Parkway Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Aaron Leroy Melton. She is survived by her father, John Clinton Gregory and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will take place on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 4 pm until 8 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service conducted by Brother Ken Castleberry will be held on Tuesday, December 14 at 2 pm. Family will receive friends and visitors two hours prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
