William J. Griffin, Madison, TN. William Joseph Griffin, age 77, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017. Mr. Griffin was born to James Edward Griffin, Sr. and Anne Elizabeth (O'Mara) Griffin in Nashville on February 19, 1939. Mr. Griffin is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers James E. Griffin Jr., Pat Griffin, and Mike Griffin. He is survived by his sister Anne E. Burnett, his brothers Robert (Elinor) Griffin, Charles (Sonia) Griffin, and David Griffin. In addition, he is survived by his special aunt Kathleen O. Mays and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 12-2pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 2pm in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home with burial to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
