Sandra Hoffman Garrett died peacefully on October 1,
2012 at Discovery Nursing in Vancouver, WA. Sandra Gail was born in
Nashville, TN, graduated from Madison H.S. in 1956 & attended MTSU.
Sandy married Tom Garrett on Thanksgiving Day in 1960 & had 3
children. They settled in the Pacific NW where they operated a
successful industrial packaging company. Mrs. Garrett was
predeceased by her husband of 50 yrs., Thomas Cunningham Garrett &
mother, Mary Corinne Peebles Hoffman. She is survived by 3 children
& their spouses, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, her sister,
Cindy Wiser Hendersonville, TN; nephew, Tim Moore Potomac, MD;
niece, Renee Bivens, Hendersonville, TN; Jimmy & Jane Garrett
Donelson, TN, Henry Garrett, Albany, GA, Betty & Bill Woodard,
Springfield, TN, Anne & Jerry Rittenberry, Madison TN, Nan & Tom
Batey, Gallatin, TN & their families. Sandra enjoyed business,
politics, dining out, caring for her family & spending time with her
grandchildren. She was loved & will be greatly missed.
