David Lawrence Hurt, age 64, of Cottontown, Tennessee, passed away at home on January 30, 2022. He was born on June 10, 1957, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Chester Blazer Hurt and the late Joyce Ann Hall Hurt. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle who will be missed dearly. He was also known for being an avid racing fan. He is survived by his wife of over 10 years, Amy Hurt; children, Dustin Hurt, Bobby Hurt, Ryan Welch, Kelsey Welch; siblings, Dollie Blazek (Butch), Donna Gilmore (John), Dennis Hurt (Michelle). He was also blessed with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Hurt; and a sister, Debbie Kabena. A Memorial Service will be held at Northridge Church, 309 Wilkinson Lane, White House, TN 37188, on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
