Jerry Ward Knight, Madison, TN., age 74 of Madison, passed away on August 25, 2015. Jerry was born in Madison, Tennessee on February 6, 1941 to the late Raymon and Thelma Knight. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and cherished friend. Jerry was proud to serve in the United State Coast Guard Reserve for over 30 years. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sisters, Jeannette Sparkman and Dorothy Sisco; half-brother, Samuel Burton Lane, Jr.; and his beloved friend of over 50 years, Rose Jeannine Luck. Jerry is survived by his sisters, Frances Draper, Faye White (Robert), and Sherrie Knight (Ray Penticost); brother, Marlin Knight (Liza Hoyt); special friends, Bobby and Betty Luck; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom he loved dearly. Jerry's family will gather for graveside services on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
