Lloyd Dean Layhew, Jr. Age 49, Madison, TN, January 8, 2001. Preceded in death by father, Lloyd D. Layhew, Sr.; brothers, David and Stanley Lay-hew. Survived by wife, Patricia Gordon Layhew; son, Bradley Paul Layhew, Sr.; daughter, Elizabeth Diane Layhew; grandson, Bradley Paul Layhew, Jr. Mr. Layhew was assistant commissioner of the Tennessee General Services Department, a lifelong resident of Madison, TN, and a former Deacon of Madison First Baptist Church. He was presently a member of the Cornerstone Church, and a member of the choir there. Remains rest at Madison Funeral Home, where services will be conducted 1 P.M. Thursday by Pastor Terry Exley, Rev. Jack Carver, and Dr. Paul Durham. Interment in Spring Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, 10 A.M.-1 P.M. Thursday.
