Robert Gale Leech, age 85, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Coach Leech was born Saturday, January 15, 1938 in Nashville, Tennessee and is preceded in death by his parents, Orval and Mary McCord Leech; daughter, Mary Kimberly Leech; brother, Jack Leech. A member of Madison Church of Christ and retired teacher and coach of the Nashville Public Schools (Madison, Stratford and Goodlettsville High Schools). Coach Leech enjoyed playing golf, fishing, his family and of course sports. Coach Leech is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joyce Fesmire Leech; daughter, Michelle "Missy" Walker; granddaughter, Kate Walker Compton and her husband John; grandson, Drew Walker; great-grandson, Jack Compton. Family and friends will gather to remember Coach Leech Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 in Bixler Chapel at Madison Church of Christ 106 Gallatin Pike N. Madison, Tennessee. His family has asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Madison Church of Christ Benevolent Center.
