LEVERING, Chris Age 55 of Nashville.
March 17, 2009. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jean
Levering, and brothers, Chuck and Bob Levering. Survived by his
devoted wife, Patty Hurley Levering; cherished children, Alicia
(Trey) Carico, Kristin Levering, Taylor (Paula) Levering; adored
grandchildren, Weston, Ellie and Emery Carico, Hadleigh Wharton,
Ciara Mitchener and Blake Taylor; brothers, Dennis (Joan) and Nick
(Tara) Levering; sisters, Vickie (Brad) McKelvey, Sherree Levering
and lots of loving nieces and nephews. As co-owner of Gray Line
Nashville for 35 years, Chris was an enthusiastic innovator in the
travel industry. Through his association with Gray Line Worldwide,
the American Bus Association, the Tennessee Motor Coach Association,
the International Motor Group and the United Motor Coach
Association, he excelled as an industry leader and developed many
honored and cherished friendships. Funeral service will be held 11
a.m. Friday, March 20th at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home chapel, with
Nathan Carico officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Lawn
Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hobbs, Butch Wilkerson,
Steve Ziegler, John Leuzner, David High, Jerry Mischler and Hulan
Cole. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Sarah Cannon Cancer
