Elizabeth “Betty” Marsh Jones, 79, peacefully passed away on April 2, 2018 after a 17 year battle with Parkinson’s. Betty was a longtime resident of Williamson County and retired from the Review Appeal (now Williamson Herald). Betty was a passionate Vanderbilt fan to the end! Betty is predeceased by her high school sweetheart Lloyd Jones, and first spouse, Robert Brooks, Sr. Betty is survived by her four children: Walt Brooks, Mark Brooks, Melissa Martin (Rory), Michael Brooks (Laura); 8 grandchildren: Amanda Weaver (Will), Rachel Brooks, Hunter Brooks, Shelby Martin, Sara Martin, Shana Martin, Scott Martin, Sydney Brooks; 2 great grandchildren: Dylan and Bradley Weaver; Siblings: Patsy Graham (her twin) and Sue Robertson (Tom). Celebration of Life will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery at 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville. Visitation is on Sunday, April 8 from 4-8 p.m. and Monday, April from 11:00 to noon. Service is at noon with internment to follow immediately afterwards.
