Obituary

Thomas L. McAnally, age 65, of Tuscaloosa, passed from this life after a long, hard fight on Aug. 6, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Rev. Leon White officiating and Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Parrish McAnally; his parents, H.F. and Pauline McAnally; and his brother, Ray McAnally. Survivors include his loving wife, Jan Shields McAnally of Tuscaloosa; his daughter, "Daddy's Girl", Tammi Sullivan (Jeff) of Tuscaloosa; special children, Freddie, Sally, and Katy; his sister, Pat Durham (Robert) of Nashville, Tenn.; and his "prides and joy", his grandchildren Josh White, Chelsea White, and Hannah White, and great-grandchildren Reagan White and Sophie Hazen. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Sealy Realty; former employees of Sears; J.C. Penney Drapery Department; Home Charm; Loyal Order of the Moose #804; the gang from "Bill's"; 3rd Floor MICU nurses and staff; Drs. John Warren, Lee Thomas, Charles Gross, Jeanne Lipscomb, and Garfield Ramdeen; employees of DCH Health System; Lewis & Faye Manderson Cancer Center; City of Tuscaloosa Office of the City Attorney; Rick Stephens; Ron Morin; and Jerome Wood.
