Larry Dean “Moe” Moyers, age 59 of Old Hickory, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Harry R. Moyers and Jewell Carnell Wair Moyers. He worked in glass manufacturing for several years. Moe loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles and Bob Seger. He enjoyed listening to live music and singing karaoke. Moe never met a stranger and everybody loved him. He was a character and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his son, Terry Moyers; sisters, Donna (Martin) Sawyer, Gayle (James) Merritt, and Carolyn (Lloyd) Hinton; girlfriend, Mechelle Barnes; two four-legged companions, Molly and Maggie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be at Hermitage Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. The Celebration of Moe’s Life will be at Hermitage Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Jason Harlin officiating.

Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Mike Daniels, Donnie Sexton, Gil Williams, Billy Wakefield, Bubba Gragg, and Mike Pitt.
