Amy Gayle Parker, Age 61 of Madison passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She was born November 28, 1955 in Nashville, TN to Billy and Mildred McCarley Forkum. She worked as a substitute teacher and was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents. She is survived by her former husband and friend of 43 years, Floyd W. Parker; sons, Jeremy (Misty) Parker, Portland, TN and Brandon Parker, Madison, TN; daughter, Amanda (Justin) Higdon, Goodlettsville, TN; sister, Judy Walker, Westmoreland, TN; 7 grandchildren, Kaley, Chelsey, Jamie, David, Laynee, Draven and Andrew. A memorial service is scheduled Friday, July 14, 2017 at 12 noon at Long Hollow Baptist Church with Bro. Roger Elliott officiating.
