Gail Pendergrass Mangrum, 72, of Hendersonville, TN, went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2017. She was born in Nashville, TN on June 21, 1945 and later moved to Hendersonville, TN, where she lived for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Edward Pendergrass and mother, Antonia Besta Pendergrass. She is survived by her children: Renee Craig (Rick), Lisa Elkin, and Doug Mangrum, Jr. (Shenah); grandchildren: Rachel Craig Stinson, Eric Craig, Ethan Craig, Evan Craig, Milly Elkin Crenshaw, Lilly Elkin, Michael Elkin, Gabriel Elkin, Ruby Elkin, Ivy Elkin, Tylore Blevins, Brianna Mangrum, Ally Mangrum, Adah Mangrum, Katie Rose Mangrum; cherished sister: Jean Bowles; father of her children and lifelong friend: Doug Mangrum, Sr.; and many treasured cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Saturday, September 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a memorial service at 12 p.m. Inurnment to follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
