John Cleveland Perry, age 76, of Mt Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022. He was born to the late Earl C and Elizabeth (Tyler) Perry on April 23, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee. John graduated from Madison High School in 1964. He continued his education at MTSU graduation with his bachelors in education. He was a teacher at Metro of Nashville for 32 years teaching history to many students. John was a Godly man who attended and was a member of Aldersgate UMC. He was MNEA member and served as president. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, watching Vanderbilt sports, and spending time with family. John is survived by his wife of 45 years Emma Jo Perry; sons, Adam Perry and Nicholas (Mandi) Perry; grandchildren, Austin Perry. A gathering of family and friends for John will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 10:30 AM until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 11:30 AM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. Hugh Grayson, Mickey Montgomery, Nick Nicholson,Tim Barber, Guy Davidson, and Steve Qualls will be serving as pallbearers.
