Donna Pilkinton Sherrell, Hendersonville, TN Donna P. Sherrell, age 59, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014. Donna was born March 10, 1955 and preceded in death by her mother, Helen Bennett Pilkinton. Donna is survived by her father, Roy Pilkinton; sister, Diane Pilkinton-Pihko; husband of 41 years, John Sherrell; daughters, Jennifer Tate and Jamie Sherrell; granddaughter, Jordan Tate; step-mother, Marjorie Pilkinton; step-sister, Brenda Ferguson, step brother, Michael "Bear" Coble; loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be conducted 12 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Edward Swafford, Steve Roberts, Grant Padgett, James Absher, David Snider, Jim Carlson, and John Bass. Honorary is Robert Pilkinton, MD. Family and friends will gather to remember Donna at a visitation today from 3 until 8 p.m. at Forest Lawn, and 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the church.
