Pamela Kay Potts, 68, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Born February 7, 1953, in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Lee Potts and Marie Givens Potts. Pam was a member of Madison Church of Christ for 65 plus years. She was retired from the Metro Nashville Public School system after serving as a kindergarten teacher for 38 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Dr. Betsy Potts. She is survived by her brothers Mike (Rachel) Potts, Dr. Steve (Jaimie) Potts, and Dr. Barry Potts; nieces Fran (Jerry) Matthews and Julia (Adam) Ellmore; nephews William (Lacy) Potts, Tyler (Jessica) Potts, and Tanner (Lynn) Potts. The family will honor her specific request to only hold a graveside service on Thursday, January 20, at 11 AM in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends and visitors at the funeral home two hours prior to the graveside service. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
