 Joe
A. Ragsdale, age 68, of La Vergne, Tenn., passed away Monday, May
17, 2010, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his
daughters, Melinda (Chris) Simpson of Hendersonville, Porsha (Corey)
Swink of La Vergne, Tenn.; sisters, Anita (Bobby) Hudson of
Portland, Melba (Ross) Frazier of Gallatin; brother, Buddy (Mary)
Ragsdale of Portland, nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Charlie Ragsdale and
Dorothy Lou (Marlin) Ragsdale; son, Barry Ragsdale. Visitation is 1
p.m., until 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 18, 2010, and after 8:30 a.m.,
Wednesday. Funeral service is 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 19, 2010, from
Portland Funeral Chapel with Buddy Ragsdale officiating. Interment
is at Maple Hill Cemetery. He was a millwright. |
