David Daneel Reece was born on July 18, 1950 in Elkin, North Carolina. He passed away on November 22, 2009, at the age 59, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, David & Murielene Reece; father-in-law, J.B. Adams. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dolores Adams Reece; daughter, Darla Reece; son, Erick (Ronda) Reece; mother-in-law, Nan Adams; sisters-in-law, Jamie Adams & Karen (Larry) Larson of TX; and his extended Reece & Norwood family that reside in North Carolina. Daneel was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He graduated from Madison High School in 1969. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969 to 1973 in the Philippines and the States as a mechanic & Crew Chief. After returning to Nashville, he worked for the I.R.S., Peterbuilt, Avco and American Eagle Airlines as an aircraft mechanic. He was the Director & Producer of The Christian View & Video Gospel Show in Hendersonville. A celebration of his life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at the Forest Lawn Chapel, with Dr. Fred Baldwin officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Association. Visitation will be Tuesday, 3 - 8 p.m. and Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. until service time.
