James Louis Reed, Madison, TN, Age 69, died at home Sunday, August 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by parents, James Donoho Reed and Margaret Cook Reed, and wife, Rosemary Yandle Reed. He is survived by wife, Rose Mary Dorris Reed; daughter, Michelle Reed (Les) Clendenin; son, Sean (Kelly) Reed; grandchildren, Emily Clendenin, Evan Clendenin, Ella Clendenin, Easton Clendenin, and Alison Reed. Mr. Reed retired from Metro Nashville Public Schools, having taught at Isaac Litton Jr. High, East Jr. and Sr. High, and McGavock High Schools. He also taught with the Sumner County School System. Following his wishes, a private Memorial service will be held by the family. Hibbett & Haley Funeral Home.
