of Madison. October 5, 2008. Preceded in death by father, Edgar
Phillip Soapes, Jr.; daughter, Stephanie Lorraine Soapes. Survived
by mother, Aline Soapes; daughter, Amanda Joanne Soapes; brothers,
Edgar Allen (Becky) Soapes and Robert "Andy" (Beverly) Soapes;
sisters, Lila Sinclair and Sarah (Terry) Briggs; grandson, Daniel;
several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday,
October 7, 2008 at Boulevard Seventh Day Adventist Church, 261 Old
Hickory Blvd. East, with a Memorial Service to follow at 7 p.m.,
with Elders Myron Johnson and David Clark officiating. The family
wants to thank Dr. Wolff and staff, along with the nurses of Alive
Hospice who cared for Phillip during his short illness. NO FLOWERS
