McLaughlin, Janie Dec. 1st, 1947 -
July 31st, 2011 Janie Wallace McLaughlin, 63, passed away peacefully
in her home on July 31st, 2011 after a 6 year battle with breast
cancer. She is survived by her children, Colette Lutz (38) and Chase
McLaughlin (33); her sisters, Judy Wallace McCoin & Sheri Wallace
Brook; and her mother, Opal Henshaw Wallace. Janie was born in
Chicago, IL and moved with her family to Tennessee, where she spent
most of her childhood and teenage years. She graduated Madison High
School in 1965. She attended Belmont College in Nashville. Janie
spent the past 30 years in Orange County, CA. During that time, 10+
years was dedicated to serving children in Santa Ana, CA. As the
Director of Released Time Christian Education, at Calvary Chapel
Costa Mesa, it was Janies joy to see children come to know Jesus.
She will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be held at
Calvary Chapel Costa Mesas main sanctuary at 1 pm on Saturday,
August 6. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to
