Sandra Lee Whitehead Appleby, age 74 of Hendersonville, passed away August 30, 2017. Mrs. Appleby was preceded in death by parents, Claude and Eula Melton. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ed Appleby; daughters, Denise Sabato and Lisa (Ricky) Fletcher; sister-in-law, Billie Haskins; grandchildren, Derrick (Yvonne) Fletcher, Brandon (Hannah) Fletcher, Jason Caseman and Jessica Caseman; great-grandchildren, Nathan Caseman, Natalee Caseman, Aivaa Crutcher, Sophia Caseman and William Edward Fletcher; special friend, Tom Gregory; special friend/companion, Sammie Rhea. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 4th at 11 am from the chapel at Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville, with Brother August Ruff officiating. Interment will be at Wilson County Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Sunday, September 3rd from 2-8 pm and Monday, September 4th from 10 am until time of service.
