Obituary

Wayne Keith Witt, age 63 of Hendersonville passed away October 3, 2013. Wayne was a member of the Church of Christ who will be remembered as a God-fearing, compassionate and giving man of integrity. He was the best Daddy and husband in the world. Wayne retired from Ron Hibbard Toyota where he was a service writer; his clients weren’t his customers, they were his “buddies”. Wayne was born on April 19, 1950 in Washington, D.C. to the late William E. and Margaret Dreaden Witt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Wayne Witt. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Witt; sons, Keith (Shannon) Witt and Joshua Armstrong; daughters, Amber (Jeremy) Head and Kelly (Barry) Graves; grandchildren, Quinn Witt, Isabella, Griffin and Taylor Head; and loving brother and sister-in-laws; he is also survived by his faithful brothers, the Schlups Hockey Team. The family would like to thank the staff at Alive Hospice at Skyline Madison Campus for their loving care and attention they provided for Wayne during his illness. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 5th at 10:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Frank Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, October 4th from 2-8 P.M. and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alive Hospice at Skyline Madison Campus.
