Elaine,      Tell Billy Wasill hello for me, we were neighbors, I was pleased to see his website. My girlfriend and I own and operate a wellness center and day spa in Evans City Pa. You can visit our site at  the following URL http://www.osiriswellness.com  In addition you can visit http://www.idirect.net and go to about us than to executives, you can view a video of me. I am the Senior Vice President of Operations iDirect Techologies working out of Hendon Va. I work in the D.C. area for iDirect through the week commuting from Pa Sunday and Friday (270 miles). One the weekend I do the heavy work on the property for OSIRIS. In short, I graduated from MHS, spent a year at Vol State, married and began a very powerful military experience, USN Search and Rescue. From the Service I joined IBM, than on to 3COM from there to FORE Systems, Marconi and Tandberg in various senior technical and global executive management roles. I have been at iDirect Technologies for 2.5 years and we have grown the company in annual revenue 20M to 50M to 86M last year. Throughout  those years I was married and divorced twice (chief complaint - work too much) and have no children. My significant other Marcia (10 years) shares the same love of animals, wellness and martial arts that I do. We have worked for 4 years to build OSIRIS, which is definately a labor of love. It's very interesting to mull over the past and look at those significant experinces that enables us to successfully navigate thorugh life. Jonnie Corbitt was in fact my favorite teacher at MHS, he fully supported my love of flying and the military. He to a great degree inspired me to join the military.  I had minimal supervision or support during my childhood (mother and father divored since I was one). My activities at school, clubs, sports and outside activities (skydiving) etc were very important and formative for me. The coaches were great and really helped to forge a sense of teamwork. I still have a fondness for cars, seemed we grew up during the muscle car era. I own (2) G55's a Mercedes SUV on streroids.  In addition I practice martial arts weekly and am a advocate of daily meditations.  There ya have it!  I can be reached at eithercaduceus1@earthlink.net or rarkie@idirect.net   Cell 412-780-3750
Take Care and thanks so much for your thoughtful and prompt response.  Rock Arkie class of 72

Dear MHSAA:     After all these years finally got addicted to the computer and I LOVE IT !  During the early 50s I  lived on New Due West Avenue at the "top of the driveway". Looking at the list of graduates of 58 their sure was some real familar names i.e.,Larry Woosley,Terry Burdette,Eddie Garrett,Quinnie Harper, John Pickett, Charles Woodall, Carolyn Christian, Betty Jo Mundy, James Owens, Will T Vance, James Owens, and next door neighbor Bobby Nolen. Would love to hear from anyone via email or even the old way at your convenience,of course. The address: 472 Valley Trace  Winder, Ga 30680. GOD BLESS, Gerald R. Jefferson   grjefferson1@alltel.net
Hello MHSAA,     This is Lila Duke (McClendon) again. I have two daughters who graduated from MHS also; Karen Faye McClendon (Carrillo) (class of '84) and Donna Kaye McClendon (Angell) (class of '79). If you look in the 1979 annual you will find that Donna's name is misspelled.  This was supposed to be a joke which was to be corrected before publication, but didn't make it. So much for kid pranks. I have spent almost a full day viewing this website.  I just couldn't tear myself away from it. I hope to see more great things appearing on this website. Best Regards, Lila Duke McClendon (class of 56)   lilamcclendon@bellsouth.net

To the MHSAA,    My family deeply appreciates the flowers and the wonderful expressions offered during the loss of my brother, David Bumbalough (class of ’62) on August 13, 2006. Your kindness was noticed by many, many people. I have proclaimed since graduation that Madison High ranks as one of all the great High Schools in American History. Spread the word that we are extremely grateful to the MHSAA Family. With sincerity and wishes for blessings on each of you, Mike Bumbalough, Class of ’64 mike_bumby@yahoo.com

To the MHSAA:     I was glad to see the site and was able to review the listings of all the people I went to school with.  Classmates told me about Pop Dennis passing away.  He was one of my favorite teachers.  He was also one of the most misunderstood teachers at Madison.  I was fortunate to be able to get really close to him my senior year.  Just wanted you to know as long as your continue to manage this site the people we loved, our friends and our lives in part will continue to remain alive in our hearts. In closing I would like to express my thanks to you for continuing this site.  Know that I can't attend the alumni association meetings.  I live just outside Jacksonville, Florida, however;  if there is anything you'd like for me to help you with in future just e-mail or call me.  I'll try to comply with your request. Warmest Regards, B. Craig Carter - class of 1968  bcraig243@aol.com

Elaine,     I saw your name on the webpage, but didn't realize that you were El Presidente!  Glad to hear from you. Believe it or not, I have thought of you many times. The website is great.  I've also exchanged emails with Jesse Gilliland since I saw it on Sunday.  I'll get you my address, I'd like to keep in touch with everyone and the website is a great way. Can't be too active as I now work in Cleveland, OH--yes, it's snowing tonight.  My wife of 28 years (as of next Sunday and who said men don't remember anniversaries) and I want to get back south eventually--hopefully east Tennessee. Our oldest 21 yr old daughter just got an apartment and our 17 yr old son starts college next fall at a branch of OH state so it will be after he get though school.  I'll take a look at the pictures.  I was lost in either Arkansas and Texas for the  20 yr reunion and one of the kids had a commitment for the 25th and I couldn't make it. Hopefully, there will be a 30th that I can get to.

Dear Madison High Alumni,       Please find below the November 8 meetings minutes.  Any Madison alumni may attend these meetings. However, as stated below, there will be no meeting in December.  We have a lot of work ahead of us.  There were approximately 6000 MHS graduates.  We have approximately 1200 addresses and even fewer e-mail addresses. If you would like to help, please come to the meetings and volunteer. Congratulations to the new MHSAA Officers elected during this meeting (see below). Our thanks go out to Sandra and her administration for the excellent job they have done in the past!  A hearty welcome to the new president and her administration (also see below). Please check out our new web site for pictures taken during the reunion,www.mhsaa-rampage.com.

Dear MHSAA:     Please add my email address to the 1974 Class Roll call.  Kenneth (Ken) Warise (KWariseJr@juno.com).   I'm curious as to why my name is in yellow -- am I a 'lost' grad?   If so, I'm 'found' now... HA!  I've been living in the Winston-Salem, NC area since 1981, the year I married my wife, Christa.  We're currently living in Advance, NC (pronounced "Add-vance" if you're local!), about 10 miles west of Winston.   We have 1 son, Kyle, who is currently a freshman at Mercer University in Macon, GA.   Christa and I met at Gardner-Webb College (now University) in Boiling Springs, NC.  I've worked for Wachovia Bank for the past 21 years and Christa is currently on staff at Ardmore Baptist Church in W-S as Minister to Sr. Adults. My parents (Ken Sr and Joan) moved to Knoxville about 5 years ago to be near my sister, Camille Warise Watson (class of 77 I believe), so I no longer have any 'connections' the the Madison/Nashville area.  Web pages like the MHS page and commercial sites like WSMV.com are my only way of getting news from the area. A couple items:  (1)  I notice you're looking for a '77 annual.  I'll check with my sister and see if I can borrow hers.  If so, I'll scan the Sr. pages and send them to you (after Thanksgiving at the earliest).  (2) I'm putting a check in the mail for Dues. Thanks for providing a way to reconnect with classmates and for keeping the spirit of MHS alive.     (signed)  Ken Warise, Class of 1974  kwarisejr@juno.com
