Every year since we got out of high school 1974 has held a class dinner at one of the local restaurants in Rivergate. We started out with lunches with just the girls and it has grown to have the MHS guys involved and became dinners. The dinners are twice a year (because once is not enough).
Our Annual Summer Dinner is held the 3rd Friday in August, and the Annual Christmas Dinner is held the 1st Saturday in December.
There is no telling what may happen at these dinners. We have gotten so loud and yes… sometimes rowdy… that Longhorn’s had to accommodate us by giving us a special place in a back room – away from everyone else. Last year we ended up at Gibson’s at Opry Mills. They had a belly dancing spectacular. Debbie Merlin and Barbara Cron’s son were picked to get up and dance. Camera are always a must at these affairs!
This year we went to Rafferty’s in Rivergate.
